Breastfeeding Resources

***It is important to note that breast-feeding is not always best for everyone! There are many personal and/or health reasons why women may not be able or want to breast-feed. If you are curious or interested in breastfeeding support and resources, we have a few here!***

  1. La Leche League International (LLLI): LLLI is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing breastfeeding support, education, and advocacy. Their website offers articles, forums, and local group listings to connect with other breastfeeding parents and trained volunteers.

  2. KellyMom: KellyMom is a popular evidence-based breastfeeding resource website run by a lactation consultant. It provides articles and FAQs on various breastfeeding topics, including common concerns, pumping, weaning, and breastfeeding while working.

  3. International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC): IBCLCs are certified professionals trained to provide expert lactation support and assistance. You can find an IBCLC in your area through directories like the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA) or by asking your healthcare provider for a referral.
